Body oil
Nature has a great variety of plants and trees from which when we distill oils, we have a mixture with many properties. Some of them are generally therapeutic for many skin problems and not only, others cosmetic, anti-aging, and protective.
Many women have the misconception that body oils are simply a new trend that has emerged in the list of options they have for hydrating their skin. But this is not true. The oils of so many plants and trees have so many properties that we just mentioned, for thousands of years and this is known from their practical experience proven by many cultures in many parts of the earth.
It is also thought that body oils are very greasy, that they stick to our clothes, that they leave stains and that they do not properly hydrate the skin in our body. But even this is not true. Quality body oils, deeply moisturize, do not leave stains on our clothes, and do not leave the oil on the skin. They are deeply absorbed by the skin, very quickly and provide hydration for a longer period than other natural materials.
Body oils have cosmetic, protective, and healing properties, and many of them, not only for the surface of the skin, because they penetrate deep and help many problems under the skin, such as joint problems.
Therefore, we offer oil-based products that treat, prevent, maintain and take care to create moisturizing, nourishing, and curative recipes. This is because every oil of a plant has more than one property and because the different oils on the market are not all from one plant but a mixture of different plant extracts.
Body oils are derived from coconut extracts. Refined coconut oil is lightweight and has special characteristics. Comes from the Cocos Nucifera plant and differs in quality from plain coconut oil. Used for massage, usually in combination with almond oil. We also use it as a bath oil or as a natural antiseptic. But it also has other beneficial properties, such as helping to restore the skin’s natural pH and not clogging its pores.
It also contains vitamins A, B, and E, but also some minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and iron.
Although it is compatible with all skin types because it is closer to human subcutaneous tissue, we use it more on oily skin. It has antimicrobial properties, helping with acne, eczema, psoriasis, and staph infections.
In people with dry skin, it helps by improving moisture levels and lipid content.
